The PDS Home Study Course is appropriate for defendants who lack the required internet/device for the PDS Interactive Web-Class. Also suitable for those who are unable to read and write as it allows for a family member or close friend to help them with reading and writing for the workbook exercises. Upon receipt of payment, PDS will mail participants their course workbooks, the same Interactive Journaling® curriculum used in our on-site classes. This class model is available for each class type offered by PDS*
The program involves a follow up telephone interview with a PDS Facilitator to ensure that the defendant provided the answers themselves and that they had full comprehension of the course material.
NEW - Option to do Video Call - You might be able to avoid mailing your journals back to PDS. If you have a smart phone (iPhone, Android, etc.) with a camera and good internet speed, you can request to schedule and complete your Home Study Course follow up telephone interview with a PDS Facilitator using the Google Duo video calling app (Facetime is not an option). Call PDS to request video call instead of mailing journals 1-800-775-3220
